I am an interior designer born and raised in New York City. Being surrounded by amazing structures, interiors, art and culture has been my inspiration to create spaces that are aesthetically pleasing while adhering to clients' needs. Additionally, living in a vastly over populated city has inspired me to create areas that will utilize space in order to maximize comfort and function. It was a journey, but I did what I could to make it happen.

While attending Hunter College, I took an introduction to studio art course and became intrigued. I eventually majored in studio arts and began taking courses such as painting, silk screening, sculpture and photography. While finishing up my last semester at Hunter College, I took a chance and enrolled at the New York School of Interior Design. I was thrilled when they accepted me to their associates program and within one week I graduated from Hunter College with a B.A. in Studio Art and a minor in Art History and I began classes at the New York School of Interior Design. After 2 short years and many trips to the D&D, I graduated with an A.A.S. from the New York School of Interior Design.

Coming from a background in art has impacted my design concepts by altering my perception of form and function. Studying art and art history has taught me that there is a certain symmetry and balance within all forms of art, whether it’s a blank canvas or an empty room and I often try to incorporate and translate this into my designs.
